My First Find

I experienced my first geocaching find yesterday! I’ve wanted to start this game for almost a month now and I finally got to find something. Many, many thanks to my parents for giving me the ability with my new hand held gps receiver – my Garmin eTrex Summit HC – that they gave me for Christmas.

My mom and I spent about 2 hours looking for more caches around the area. We found 7 out of the 11 we were searching for. Not too shabby for the first time out!

I’ve already plotted out more to find… it’s so much fun.
